I used to tell myself to avoid this movie, only because I didn’t like Colin Farrell as an actor. I never had any good reason for not liking him either, I think it was one of those things where you’re just like, “I don’t like him/her, he/she bugs me.” It’s pretty stupid, but hey now that I’ve seen In Bruges, I’ve totally changed my mind on him. He was hysterical in this one, along with Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes. I even loved the thick Irish accents used with its location shot in Belgium. I was very much entertained by each character and how the story went in a combination of both dark, witty comedy and action. One thing I realized is I take much pleasure in Ralph Fiennes doing comedic roles, such as Cemetery Junction. I’d like to see him to do more!
